Meet Our Team
At KM Speech Therapy, our team is organized into distinct groups to ensure comprehensive and specialized care for each child:
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)
Our core group of licensed bilingual speech-language pathologists (SLPs) conduct speech-language evaluations in the San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita valley both in home and in clinic. Our team has experience treating and evaluating children ages 0-21 with various speech and language diagnoses. Our therapists have various trainings including: Natural Language Acquisition, Apraxia, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, Myofunctional therapy, and Hanen- It Takes Two to Talk.
Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
Our Speech-Language Pathology Assistants play a vital role in supporting licensed speech-language pathologists. They assist in delivering individualized child-led and play based therapeutic intervention services, by implementing treatment plans, and tracking client progress under the supervision of a licensed clinician. SLPAs help ensure that each child receives consistent and effective care tailored to their individual communication needs.
Child Development Therapists
Child Development Therapists at KM Speech Therapy hold a unique and essential role. They are more than a service provider — they are a partner, a coach, and often the first point of connection for families navigating early intervention. Their work blends direct child-centered support, family coaching, case management, and collaboration with other professionals. They provide individualized, play-based, and relationship-focused services that align with each child’s IFSP goals and each family’s priorities. Child Development Therapists at KM Speech Therapy support functional growth across all developmental domains while also empowering families.
Administrative Staff
Our Administrative Staff provides essential support that keeps our speech therapy and child development services running smoothly. From scheduling appointments and managing records to coordinating communication between families and clinicians, our team ensures a seamless experience for every client and their caregivers. Their organizational skills allow our therapists to focus on delivering high-quality care. Our administrative staff speaks English and Spanish.
