Tamara Vandenbroucke, MS CCC-SLP

Tamara Vandenbroucke, MS CCC-SLP, believes that therapy works best when both parents and children feel truly understood. Since 2019, she has partnered with families across the San Fernando Valley to provide thoughtful, individualized care that meets each child where they are.

A graduate of California State University, Northridge’s Communication Disorders and Sciences program, Tamara has worked with children across a wide range of ages and communication needs. Her interest in orofacial myofunctional therapy began during her clinical practicum, where she trained under a myofunctional therapist. She later completed the Myo Method course with Hallie Bulkin, MA CCC-SLP, CMT®, CPFT™. She has seen firsthand how oral function shapes nearly every part of a child’s day, from breathing and sleep to eating and regulation.

Tamara is also trained in the Lidcombe Program for early childhood stuttering and in PROMPT, a tactile approach for motor speech disorders. With older children, she is especially drawn to executive function and the role it plays as kids navigate school and life transitions. Across all of her work, she looks at the whole child, aiming for progress that shows up at home, at school, and in everyday life.

When she’s not in the clinic, Tamara can be found at swim meets across Southern California, cheering on her two swimmer daughters alongside her husband and their two dogs.
